The colony is considered a tourist Attractive of the 'Cultural Manifestations' category. It is part of Pozuzo, which is a tourist product since the attractive (the Austro-German colony) was included in the structure, such as bus services to get there, restaurants around the area, viewpoints, hotels or hostels, restobars, and museums. Why is it fascinating?
The colony has provided unique characteristics to Pozuzo, for instance; the architecture observed is simply spectacular, and the Austro-German influence is reflected in the houses they had built over the years. Regarding the cuisine, the colony offers Austrian, German, Peruvian, and mestizo dishes. All of these have undergone fusion because when trying to reflect the culinary culture of one country in another, one must adapt to the ingredients available in the area. One of the most famous dishes in the colony that underwent an adaptation is the "Apple Strudel." As the name suggests, it is made with apples; however, due to the location, it was replaced by bananas. Similarly, traditions have been preserved, or some modifications have been made.
